Bhuj: A Pakistani national was apprehended from Kutch district of Gujarat for illegally entering India, the Border Security Force(BSF) has said.
"The man identified as Mohammad Shan, a resident of Punjab province in Pakistan was apprehended when he tried to enter India after crossing the border fence. He was held from near the border pillar number 1123," BSF DIG G S Mallik said.
He has been handed over to the police and will be interrogated by various security agencies at Joint Interrogation Centre in Bhuj, BSF sources said.
Intruders, who generally try to enter India through Kutch region is from neighbouring Sindh province of Pakistan. However, this man is from Punjab province, BSF
officials said.
