Valsad: A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory here in Vapi Industrial Area of Gujarat on Saturday.
More than eight fire tenders reached at the spot and extinguishing operation is underway.
No causalities have been reported so far.
Earlier, eight patients were killed after a fire broke out at a private COVID-19 designated hospital in Ahmedabad.
The eight patients who died were admitted in the ICU ward of the hospital and the victims include five men and three women.
Around 40 other COVID-19 patients at the facility were rescued and shifted to a civic hospital in the city.
