Ahmedabad (Gujarat): A teenage girl from Gujarat, Nilanshi Patel has broken her own record of having the longest hair in a teenage category. At present, her hair measures 6 feet and 2.8 inches. She has been able to find a place in Guinness book of the world record for the third consecutive time.
Nilanshi, who is is called Rapunzel by her friends, has been growing her hair since she was six years old after having a bad experience at a salon.
She won the title for the first time in 2018 and has retained her status also in 2020. Her hair has grown almost 1 foot in three years. In 2018 she had 5 feet and 7 inches hair, which has grown to 6 feet and 2. 8 inches.

Nilanshi has the honour of having long locks and at the same time, she is equally sharp in her studies. She has recently secured 107th rank at All India Level in JEE Advance Examination and has taken admission for a course on Chemical Engineering at Gandhinagar IIT.
Queen of curls, Nilanshi is a multi-talented teenager. She had been a national player in table tennis too. She is a good dancer, swimmer, and skater as well.
