Gandhinagar (Gujarat) : All employees of the Gujarat government will get a Reliance Jio Monthly Rental Plan for Rs 37.50. It offers free calling on any mobile operator or landline. Along with this, the user will get 3,000 SMSs free every month. Under this, the service of Vodafone-Idea for state government employees has been stopped from Monday.
Along with this, all the numbers of the employees of this company have been transferred to Reliance Jio. Till now in Gujarat, the official numbers of state government employees were of Vodafone-Idea company. The employees were continuously using Voda-Idea postpaid mobile numbers. But on Monday, May 8, 2023, a notification has been issued by the Government of Gujarat, saying that with immediate effect, employees should use the Reliance Jio number in place of Vodafone-Idea.
According to Reliance Jio's plan, employees will be able to use Jio's CUG plan at a monthly rental of just Rs 37.50. Government employees will get Reliance Jio Monthly Rental Plan for Rs 37.50. If you look at this plan, through this there will be free calling on any mobile operator, or landline. Along with this, the user will get 3,000 SMS free every month. After using these SMSs, there will be a charge of 50 paise for each SMS. On the other hand, for international SMS, a charge of Rs 1.25 per message will be levied.

According to the agreement with Reliance Jio, government employees will also be given 30 GB of 4G data per month under this plan. After this limit is over, to increase the data, 25 rupees will have to be spent on the plan. Through this additional charge, 4G data up to 60 GB will be available. To add a 4G unlimited plan, you will have to add Rs 125 per month. At the same time, the government employee will get a 5G plan at the price of 4G.
The government notification said that the employees who were already using the Voda-Idea number, the same number will be used by transferring it to Jio through mobile portability. There will be no change in the number.
