Speaking to media persons, Doshi said, "The CBI is currently investigating the case of actor Sushant Singh's death and I hope, they will bring out the truth. In this regard, Sushant's friend Sandeep Singh was one of the producers of the biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi starring actor Vivek Oberoi in the lead role. This shows that Singh has close links with the BJPsince the biopic poster was launched in the presence then Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis."

"Gujarat Tourism Ministry had signed an MoU with Singh's Legend Global Company for the tourism of Gujarat and branding of the film. Rs 177 crore MoU has made a loss of Rs 4 lakh. The people of Gujarat want to know who was behind such granting of such privileges. Because of this deal, the treasury of Gujarat is getting empty day by day," Doshi told reporters.

Doshi questioned," Why BJP government is not supporting the regional film industry over here and why the current government is not promoting the Gujarati artists. Now BJp has to answer why they promoted Sandeep Singh's company by making such a loss of the state."

"In 2017, the company had made a loss of Rs 66 lakh. In 2018, it made a profit of Rs 61 lakh. But in 2019 it was at a loss of Rs 4 lakh. So how the government made a plan to invest Rs 177 crore in a company which had already made a loss of Rs 4 lakh?" he added.
