Kutch: A thank you note for medical professionals written by a patient recovered from coronavirus has gone viral on social media.

A woman (27) form Krishna Park Society of Bhuj’s Madhapar and a man (62) from Kotada Madh village after getting discharged thanked the medical personnel that took care of them and nursed them back to health.

The woman from Madhapar wrote an emotional thanksgiving note which was later on, released to the press by the district health administration.

Three members of a family of Madhapur were infected by the coronavirus pandemic.

While the head of the family, the woman’s father-in-law died, the mother-in-law was discharged from the hospital five days ago.

In her thanksgiving letter, the woman wrote, “Mom has recovered now let Papa too recover and go home.”

It was obvious that she was not aware of the death of her father-in-law.

At the very beginning of her letter she wrote, “Thank you all of you for supporting and taking good care. We could not get such good care in our home. The psychiatrist Karishma Madam gave us the courage and boosted our morale. That helped us remain mentally and physically fit. Everyone cared for us a lot. I thank from the bottom of my heart all the doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff. Jai Hind, Vande Mataram. Thank you again.”

Continuing the letter she wrote, “All the staff are good-hearted. All of them used to talk very nicely. They would tell me not to cry and that they would see that I go home within two days. They proved right. Thank you for your blessings and for giving me hope. The dietician ensured I get good meals, sherbet, breakfast and fruits. We can never forget the good all of you have done to us. All are God for us. Thank you all. Now, please send my Papaji home soon. Sorry, if I have missed mentioning anyone. Thank you all again."

On the other hand, the 62-year-old man too thanked the hospital staff and promised to remain away from addictions.

Bhuj civil surgeon Dr Kashyap Buch and other hospital staff applauded him for his decision.

Doctors advised him to take care of his health for at least the next two-three months.
