COVID-19: Railway staff develop touch free wash basin in Ahmedabad

New devices are being created by fertile minds to avoid contact and to keep safe from coronavirus. The staff of Ahmedabad Railway have created a unique touch-free washbasin, which enables them to keep their hands sterile, without any contact.

Ahmedabad: It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. At the time of the coronavirus scare, it is very important to keep your hands sterile.

Railway employees of Kankaria, Sabarmati and Gandhidham in Ahmedabad have teamed up to create a mechanical washbasin which enables to wash your hands without having to touch it. It automatically dispenses liquid soap and water by the sign of one’s foot.

In this new washbasin, the liquid soap and water are automatically turned on so that railway workers can keep their hands sterile. This device is likely to be very useful in future.
