Ahmedabad (Gujarat): Metro authorities in Ahmedabad started sanitization of stations and trains ahead of the resumption of services from September 7 as the pandemic restrictions were lifted in what is known as Unlock 4.
Workers carried out the sanitization work at all stations and inside the trains.

A few days back, the Home Ministry issued new guidelines for opening up more activities in areas outside the containment zones.
Under Unlock-4, the Metro rail has been allowed to operate from September 7 in a graded manner.
