Porbandar (Gujarat): Ravi Mohan Saini, the winner of Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior in 2001, took charge as the Superintendent of Police (SP), Porbandar on Thursday.
14-year-old Saini answered all 15 questions correctly and won the top prize of Rs 1 crore in the popular television show Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior in 2001.

Nearly two decades later, Saini who is now 33-year-old, has become the SP, Porbandar, Gujarat.
Saini joined the police force after being inspired by his father, a retired Navy officer.
After completing his schooling from Naval Public School in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in Jaipur, Saini tried his luck in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination and secured the job in 2014.
Saini joined the Gujarat cadre and later served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 1 in Rajkot city.
Meanwhile, Kaun Banega Crorepati season 12 is expected to hit the silver screen soon. The screening and selection process of KBC 12 has been delayed due to the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus.
