'Yuva Adhikar March' to mobilise youth against Modi government

New Delhi: Trouble mounted for Modi government after thousands of youth from various universities across the national capital gathered for 'Yuva Adhikar March' on Friday to protest against unemployment and crisis in higher education.

The march started from the Red Fort to parliament street, raising slogans against the Modi government. The protest is led by left party affiliated students' group and JNU student's union president N Sai Balaji. The main objective of this protest is to introduce better employment opportunities and education to youths.

MP Dharmendra Yadav, DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozi and various Samajwadi party leaders also participated in the dharna and addressed the gathering. The protest which was organised to address issues pertaining to jobs and higher education later turned into a political debate. Many major leaders including former JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar and Gujarat Independent MLA Jignesh Mewani were also present and supported the march.

Intro:Thousands of youth, mostly students marched from Red Fort to parliament street raising slogans against Modi government on the issue of unemployment and crisis in higher education. The protest was led by left party affiliated students' groups and JNU students union president N Sai Balaji of AISA managed to gather support from other political parties as well.
Samajwadi Party leaders and MP Dharmendra Yadav and AIDMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozi also participated in the dharna and addressed the gathering.
Although the protest was organized to raise the issue of crisis in higher education and jobs but the stage took political turn and most of the student leaders or other leaders from political parties appealed to throw Modi government out of power in the upcoming general elections.


Body:Student leader and former JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar and independenr MLA from Gujrat Jignesh Mewani are well known for their anti government protests and statements. The same happened in this Thursday protest where the students and job aspirants from across the country had gathered to raise their issues but they were only asked to vote Modi out of power to get their demands fulfilled.


Conclusion:The one day dharna protest concluded around 4 in the evening but the representatives only concluded that the current Modi government was the only reason behind all their issues and the crowd was dispersed with a pledge to work against the BJP led NDA government in the upcoming gh general elections.
