New Delhi: Claim that he will complete his full term may not be true for Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, who says there was no question of him being replaced, even as the RSS and the BJP look for "someone reliable" for the post in the southern state.
The Chief Minister, who was in New Delhi for the past two days, had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers and discussed various issues, including state cabinet expansion, with them.
His trip to the national capital has been termed as "significant" by the BJP and a party functionary told ETV Bharat here on the condition of anonymity that it was an important trip of him and the party high command may have given him the go-ahead for cabinet expansion but there was no assurance on his continuation as the chief minister.
Meanwhile, Yediyurappa, 78, also refuted reports that his son was working as "super chief Minister", saying it was not true as he himself was handling everything as the CM of the state.
