New Delhi : All India Imam Organisation (AIIO) chief Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, who has been granted Y+ category security, has said that he has received a threatening call from England after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visited their mosque in the national capital.
Imam Ilyasi said that the threatening call from England came on September 23 when the caller said that he (Ilyasi) will burn in the fire of hell, sources said. The AIIO chief has been granted Y+ category security after he received multiple threats ever since he called the chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as 'Rashtra Pita' (Father of the Nation).
Ilyasi met Bhagwat on September 22 and clarified that the RSS chief visited Madarsa at his invitation. The imam further said that he had received telephonic threats from Dubai, England and also parts of India. Security was provided to him after he lodged a case at Tilak Lane police station, and also informed the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

RSS chief's meeting with Umar Ahmed Ilyasi at the Delhi mosque lasted for more than an hour. Ilyasi reiterated that he had invited the RSS chief and he had called him Rashtra Pita. He also vowed to stand by his word.
