New Delhi: A 31-year-old female teacher was allegedly raped by a colleague at a government school under Begumpur police limits in New Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
The accused's identity is yet to be ascertained.
The incident came to light when the woman teacher lodged a complaint with the same police station on Saturday.
According to the complainant, the accused had called the woman on November 2 to an isolated place at school and forcibly outraged her modesty.
On Saturday the woman teacher along with the family members lodged a complaint with Begumpur police station.
Meanwhile, the police said a case in this regard has been registered slapping charges against the accused.
" The complainant's medical test is yet to be conducted. The report of the test will confirm whether she was raped or not. We are also checking the CCTV footage of the school and the accused person's mobile location. We will take action very soon. Further investigations and interrogation are underway," a police official said.
