New Delhi: A day after Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was handed over to India by Pakistan, Major General (retd) PK Sehgal said India's principal target is the elimination of terrorists, not the people of Pakistan.
Speaking to Etv Bharat, Major General Sehgal said, "Pakistan is a rogue nation and the recent showdown with India may not stop it from indulging in anti-India activities in future."
He termed the captive Wing Commander's released as a "diplomatic win" for India.
"India has made very clear to Pakistan that we are not the enemy of Pakistani people. We have only decided to target the terrorists and not any military or civilian," he said referring to the IAF attack on the terrorist camps on Pakistan's land.
