New Delhi: Following the controversial remarks of Sam Pitroda on 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big issue out of it.
The Sikhs on Sunday protested against Pitroda's remarks but were not allowed to march towards the Congress headquarters located at Akbar Road.
However, on Saturday, they reached the Central Congress office at 24 Akbar Road.
The women protesters demanded an apology from Congress President Rahul Gandhi and United Progressive Alliance supremo Sonia Gandhi on Pitroda's statement.
Over 84 riot victims had shouted slogans in front of the Congress headquarters. Following which, they were arrested and sent to Tilak Marg police station.
