New Delhi: Bodies of a mother and daughter duo, who lived in New Ashok Nagar of East Delhi, were found in a pool of blood at their flat, police said on Monday.
Police believe that the two were stabbed to death and their bodies were first noticed by the domestic help as she reached their home for work.
Sunita, 45, who worked with an event management company, lived with her daughter Smrita, 25, who was undergoing training for hospitality sector, after her husband's death.
The bodies were sent for postmortem, police said, adding that the an FIR has been registered and probe was on to find out who killed the two women.
Police is going through the CCTV footage to nab the culprit.
