"We haven't been paid the salary of three months despite working round the clock during this trying times of corona-crisis. We have expenses to meet and family to take care of. Hence by organising a silent protest for one-hour every day we want the government to hear our unheard voices, a doctor said.

He went to add, "We don't want a heap of praises neither do we want any applause, we just want our salary which of course is our basic right. As long as Congress was in power, we never faced any problem regarding our salary but after AAP has formed government, all the doctors keep complaining about the salary issue."

However, the case is absolutely different here at Rajan Babu TB hospital. There are approximately 400 healthcare professionals who haven't received their salary for the past three months. If the salary problem continues, we will sit on strike. We might even increase the duration."
