New Delhi: After protesting farmers were granted entry into the national capital on Friday and were invited for a dialogue on December 3, a meeting is scheduled today between the authorities and the unions at 10 a.m today.
Reportedly, in the meeting, a call will be taken whether or not to continue protest at the Nirankari ground at Burari.
Amid talks of a dialogue, Haryana has opened all the borders adjoining Punjab including Shambhu and Saddopur border in Ambala. Confirming the news, Ambala SP Rajesh Kalia said that now no one will be stopped from travelling between Haryana and Punjab.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj on Friday welcomed the farmers into the capital and said the government welcomes them. "The Aam Aadmi Party is ready for all possible help of the farmers and stands with them. And if the need arises, is ready to be beaten up along with them too," he said.
Commenting on the issue, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called the Narendra Modi government of the Center arrogant.
Rahul in his tweet wrote, 'PM should have remembered that whenever ego clashes with the truth, it is defeated. No government in the world can stop the farmers fighting the battle for truth.

The Delhi Police on Wednesday had sought permission from the Delhi government to convert 9 stadiums into a temporary jail, which the government rejected.
Around 30 farmers' unions have come together to protest against the Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 and the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 were passed by the Upper House in September through voice vote despite objection from opposition parties.
While the government said the three laws will do away with middlemen, enabling farmers to sell their produce in the commercial markets, protestors fear that this could lead to the government not buying produce at guaranteed prices, thereby disrupting their timely payments.
The protesting farmers have come with complete preparation on the Singhu border of Delhi. The women farmers taking part in the agitation said that they have bought with them ration for up to 6 months in case the protests go on for long. They said they will not back down until the demand of the farmer will not be accepted.
A large number of police forces, RAF and CISF have been deployed on the Chilla border and RAF Tainanoida's Sector 14A Chilla Border in view of a large number of farmers turning up for the agitation.
