New Delhi: Amidst the Lok Sabha elections, while addressing the press conference in the national capital on Monday, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) GVL Narasimha Rao said that Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate, Tej Bahadur Yadav is willing to hatch a plot to assassinate PM Modi for Rs 50 crore.
"Stunned by the statements of Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate, Tej Bahadur Yadav. He was drafted by SP from Varanasi, his candidature has been nulified for various reasons. We can see on TV, how he is telling a group that he's willing to hatch a plot to assassinate PM Modi for Rs 50 crore," Rao said.
"Parties like Congress rallied behind such anti-social forces rather than the government is a matter of concern. The fact that he was sought to be drafted as a candidate by SP, it really stuns us. We condemn it, we expect all the agencies to take note of this threat," he added.
