Science museum in Delhi could be inaugurated amid fear of Coronavirus

Amid fear of coronavirus, a science museum, set up with a cost of crores of rupees, could not be inaugurated in the national capital. The museum has 30 science projects that would help children learn more and acquire scientific temper.

New Delhi: A science museum for school children, which has been established with an aim to develop scientific temper among students, could not be inaugurated amid fear of coronavirus, which is spreading very fast across the globe.

An official, interacting with the ETV Bharat, said that crores of rupees have been spent to develop the museum and the visitor would get to see a lot here, including moving and noise-making dinosaurs.

"It has been developed for Nagar Nigam schools of South Delhi but it may be opened for other schools as well. It was to be inaugurated on Saturday but due to fear of coronavirus, the inauguration ceremony was postponed," he said.The multi-storey science museum has 30 durable science projects and it would help children to develop scientific temper and help them know more about several things, he said.
