Hyderabad(Telangana): In view of the rising Covid-19 cases in Delhi, schools are shut to contain the fight against Covid-19.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia said,"Schools and educational institutions can re-open from mid-July if situation remains under control. CBSE will conduct Class 10 and 12 pending board exams in the first two weeks of July. At present, we cannot ascertain what will be the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases, so drawing a conclusion now is difficult. After first two weeks, we can decide when and how many schools can be opened".
Delhi govt had ordered closure of all government and private schools on March 19 as a preventive measure to contain the spread of virus. However, CBSE recently announced the date sheet of pending class 10 and 12 for the students of North east Delhi which will commence from July 1.
