Registration for admission in DU ends on July 18

The Delhi University admission process, which started on June 20 and would have concluded on July 4, was extended by a 14-day period in view of the CBSE result for class 12 getting delayed and the postponement of JEE and NEET examinations due to Covid-19 crisis.

New Delhi: The online registration process for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes for the academic year of 2020-21 of the Delhi University comes to an end today evening at 5 o'clock.

Registration for admission in DU ends on July 18
The admission process, which started on June 20 and would have concluded on July 4, was extended by a 14-day period in view of the CBSE result for class 12 getting delayed and the postponement of JEE and NEET examinations due to Covid-19 crisis.
Earlier, July 4 was fixed as the last date but it was extended to July 18.As many as 4,27,310 students have filed applications for various courses of the university and 2,74, 370 students have paid their registration fee as well. The Delhi University has only 70, 000 seats for the under graduation courses.

For postgraduation courses, 1,61,082 aspirants have registered and out of these, 1,25,456 candidates paid registration fees.

This year, the registration was delayed owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
