Rajasthan crisis was an internal matter of Congress: BJP

New Delhi: Terming rebel Sachin Pilot returning to the Congress as an "internal matter" of the grand old party, the BJP on Tuesday said, "it had nothing to with it".

"It's not justifiable to drag the BJP into it. Whenever you have any problem you drag us into it," Sudesh Verma, national spokesperson of the BJP said.

"The BJP is in opposition in Rajasthan. It's not our duty to tell you how to run the government," he said, questioning the ruling Congress to have kept MLAs in hotels for the past one month.
"You didn't have faith in them," he asked, saying that no good political party does it when the government has pressing issues to address. Pilot and 18 other MLAs had rebelled against Chief Minister Gehlot in Rajasthan, leading to Pilot's sacking as deputy chief minister and state party chief.
The month-long political crisis was resolved on Monday after he met Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for two hours and had a "frank, open and conclusive" discussion.Also Read: Daughters entitled to equal property rights, says Supreme Court
