New Delhi: A Jaish militant carrying a bounty of Rs 2 lakh has been arrested from Srinagar by the Delhi Police, an officer said on Monday.
Faiyaz Ahmad Lone belonging to the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) group was nabbed on Saturday following a tip off by the Special Cell.
Lone, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara is an active member of the JeM.
The bounty on Lone was announced by Delhi Police. "A non bailable warrant for his arrest was also issued by the Delhi High Court here," the officer said.
"Lone was evading his arrest since 2015," he added.
On March 21, Delhi Police had arrested Sajjad Khan, an alleged associate of Pulwama terror attack mastermind Mudassir Ahmed Khan. He was arrested from the Red Fort area. He was later handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
