New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party's spokesperson Prem Shukla has termed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's statement on Muslim votes as a 'communal' remark. The BJP has alleged that Kejriwal is already making excuses as he fears that he will not win this time.
In an interview, AAP national convener, when asked how many seats his party would get in Delhi, said, “Until 48 hours before polling, it seemed like all seven seats will come to AAP. But at the last moment, the complete Muslim vote got shifted to Congress. We are still trying to figure out what actually happened.”
Shukla said,"People of Delhi have made up their mind to reject AAP's governance and Kejriwal has understood this."
The BJP claimed that AAP is collapsing and it will get zero seats in Delhi.
When asked about Delhi CMs statement on supporting the government on the pre-condition of statehood, the BJP spokesperson said,"The question support from AAP would arise if it happens to win any seats."
Arvind Kejriwal was campaigning in Punjab’s Rajpura where he stated “if the Union government is minus Modi and Shah”, and if AAP gets enough seats, “we will support the government on the pre-condition of statehood for Delhi”.
