There has been a speculation in the political circles for the past few weeks if the LJP, an NDA, constituent would remain with it as party chief Chirag Paswan has made it very clear that he would want his party to contest from 43 out of the total 243 assembly seats in Bihar. He also wants the NDA to include "Bihar first, Bihari first" vision document in the declaration letter of the alliance.
Meanwhile, the BJP has announced that the LJP would remain with the NDA only and there was no question of it going out of the alliance.
