New Delhi: India's Shia Muslims on Saturday took to the streets in Delhi protesting against Pakistan demanding that the Muslim-majority nation should be declared a terrorist nation and that the Pakistan embassy should be shut.
Shia cleric Kalbe Jawad while speaking to ETV India said that in Pakistan, raising slogans in the name of Yazid means promoting terrorism.
Kalbe Jawad said, "Yazid is the one who martyred the son of Imam Hussain, kept him hungry and thirsty. He is the one who attacked Medina Munawwara and tortured women. In Pakistan, slogans are being raised for such a man and they call themselves Muslim."

Jawad added that the sloganeering in support of Yazid is the evidence that the government of Pakistan is supporting terrorism and therefore it should be declared as a terrorist government internationally.
Syed Naseeruddin Chishti, Chairman of All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council, while speaking to ETV India said, "Supporting a person like Yazid inside a Muslim country like Pakistan proves that the way Pakistan has come to support terrorism, they want to give a new face to terrorism."
He said that Pakistan Ambassadors in India should apologize to them or India should shut the Pakistani Embassy.
