New Delhi: Emphasizing that it would continue to protest against the centre for its "anti-farmer legislation", Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has said that the Narendra Modi government has no regard left for the parliamentary proceedings and the democratic set up that India has.
Interacting with ETV Bharat here, AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Narain Dass Gupta said the union government does not have any modesty and it was ruining the democratic nature of the country. The AAP would continue to protest against the government's "anti-people" policies.
Referring to Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Singh offering tea to the protesting MPs outside the parliament building, he said it was just a "drama". In case, they wanted to show some modesty, it should have been done inside the house.
"Revoke suspension of the opposition MPs and let the parliament debate issues of public interests," he said, adding that it would be an act of modesty and not offering tea to suspended MPs.

In a sarcastic comment, the AAP MP said that union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was right in saying that there was no modesty left.
Earlier in the day, Prasad has targeted the opposition parties for ruckus in the parliament over farm bills, saying there was no modesty left.
"The minister was right in saying that there was no modesty left. The government has no modesty as it is working against the farmers," he said, adding that the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman must have accepted the demand of the upper house members to revoke the suspension of the MPs.
Similar views were expressed by another AAP leader and Delhi MLA Raghav Chadha, who said that the Modi government has become anti-people and was wasting money on issuing advertisements in English for farmers.
"Who would read these advertisements that are addressed to the farmers. They are issued in English," he said, adding that the government was not bothered for farmers and the common people country.
He said the AAP would continue to protest from road to parliament against the Modi government in case it does not listen to the opposition.
