New Delhi:The Ministry of Home Affairs has repatriated R.M. Meena, chief executive officer (CEO) of Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB) to her parent cadre in the CRPF and appointed Rajeev Ranjan, DIG, CRPF as the new CEO, officials said on Thursday.

ETV Bharat had on Wednesday reported that an action has been initiated by the Home Ministry against DIG R.M. Meena for the goof-up in de-listing imported products.

KPKB had on June 1 recalled its previous order of de-listing 1026 items of various companies with immediate effect to re-scrutinise the list of products under different categories.

The order issued by Central Police Canteen (CPC) in-charge DIG Reema read, "The letter is hereby recalled with immediate to re-scrutinize the lists of products under different categories."

As per the non-withdrawn order, all products being sold at CPC were categorised into three groups. The order said category 1 and 2 will be allowed to be on KPKB inventory for sale, through KPKB canteens whereas products falling under category 3 will be de-listed from June 1.

The list of products that were de-listed on Monday included those from Indian companies like Dabur India Ltd, Bajaj Electricals, VIP, etc.

On May 13, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that paramilitary canteens from June 1 will only sell 'swadeshi' products.
