New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at a medicine factory in outer Delhi's Narela industrial area on Monday, the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said.
Soon after the fire engulfed the factory, 18 DFS personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
No injuries or casualties have been reported so far and the DFS said that no one was trapped inside the factory.
The flames were brought under control by this afternoon, following which cooling operations were carried out.
Although the exact reason behind the outbreak of fire is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that electrical short circuit led to the mishap, sources said.
