New Delhi: A mild earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale hit close to Rohtak district in Haryana on Friday afternoon, tremors of which were felt in Delhi and the national capital region.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, its epicentre was 17 km east-southeast of Rohtak and the tremors were felt at 3.32 p.m.
No casualties or damage to properties have been reported so far.
Delhi and NCR felt tremors for the 18th time in a period of three months.
