New Delhi: Meet Ramjal Meena, a security guard at Jawaharlal Nehru University campus, who has cracked the varsity's entrance exam and will now purse BA in Russian language.
Ramjal worked as a JNU guard for five years. He cracked the entrance test for the academic year 2019-20.
Cracking the civil services exam is his next target, says Ramjal.
A native of Rajasthan, Ramjal always wanted to make it big in life and pursue studies. However, due to financial crisis at home, he had to quit studies and take up the job of a security guard.
"I was a meritorious student in my school. I always wanted to study further. When I used to see students here studying day and night, it motivated me to give the entrance exam," said Ramjal.
Some students from JNU helped him fill up the form and that's how he appeared for the exam. He feels obliged towards them for helping him clear the exam.
Ramjal is an epitome for all the students who feel like giving up their studies. He firmly believes that a person must never stop learning.
