Delhi: In a bid to save the environment from degradation, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has provided 20,000 saplings of different species of plants to Sangat on the new year.
Gurdwara body is committed to saving the environment from degradation and on new year people actively participated in the event and took one sapling from the event to home and promised to safeguard the environment.
Pollution is one of the prominent problems of the capital and this initiative will surely contribute to preventing pollution.
