New Delhi: To pose a serious challenge to the BJP in the forthcoming polls, the alliance partners of mahagathbandhan will meet in Bihar on March 17 to announce the seat sharing deal, Bihar Congress in-charge Shakti Singh Gohil said.
Speaking to Etv Bharat, Gohil said, “All party leaders have discussed the means and strategies on how to win 40 LS seats in Bihar.”
Gohil said, “In Bihar, the alliance is united to defeat BJP”.
NDA, JDU and BJP will contest on 17 seats in Bihar whereas LJP will contest on 6 seats. But seat sharing has not been finalized yet.
The meeting was held at the Delhi residence of Congress general secretary, KC Venugopal. Tejashwi Yadav of RJD, Upendra Kushwaha of RLSP and several party leaders were present in the meeting.
