Protests are underway by the farmers against the new agricultural laws where lakhs of farmers gathered at the borders of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Taking a dig at actor-turned-politician and Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol, Tewari said since Deol is a movie-star he won't comment on the issues as he's not a politician.

Sunny Deol, in a statement, had said that he is with the government and with the farmers too.

With government proposing amendments to the acts and farmers demanding the repulsion all together, all the five meetings have been inconclusive. The next round of talks due on Wednesday will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
