New Delhi: The BJP-led NDA government is ready to answer all questions of the opposition in parliament in the next session, which could be a virtual one as accommodating all MPs in accordance to the COVID-19 physical distancing norms would be an issue, sources said.
The monsoon session of Parliament is normally held in the month of July every year but no dates of the same have been announced as yet because of the coronavirus pandemic this year.
BJP Rajya Sabha MP Shiv Pratap Shukla told ETV Bharat here that the government is fully prepared to answer any question of the opposition.
"Be it China, coronavirus crisis and other related issues, the government would answer it all but the opposition should play a constructive role and not a negative one," he said.
According to the sources, the government is preparing itself for all possible issues that the opposition may raise in the monsoon session, which has been delayed due to the COVID-19 health crisis.

Meanwhile, all possible options to organise the monsoon session of the parliament are being considered but prospects of a routine session have come under question with existing government buildings found inadequate to accommodate all MPs.
According to reports, a hybrid session, which would allow some MPs to be present physically in Parliament with the remaining ones attending it virtually, is a possibility.
It is reported that one of the options which is being discussed is to enable attendance in the Chambers of both the Houses of only those many members who can be accommodated according to social distancing norms by drawing up lists of such members whose participation in various items of business is required on a daily basis.
It is learnt that Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, the secretary-generals of both houses have told the presiding officers that neither the central hall nor the Vigyan Bhawan plenary hall have a seating capacity to accommodate all MPs together.
