New Delhi: Four Kashmiri youths believed to be conspiring a terrorist attack in Delhi have been arrested by the Special Cell. Four pistols and 120 live cartridges have been recovered from them, the police said.
The arrested Ishfaq Majid Koka is the elder brother of Kashmir's infamous terrorist Burhan Koka alias Chhota Burhan. He was killed in an encounter by the army.
According to Special Cell's DCP Pramod Kushwaha, the team of Inspector Sunil, Ravindra Joshi and Vinay was working under the supervision of ACP Hriday Bhushan and Lalit Mohan Negi keeping in mind the terrorist attack. During this time, they came to know that some suspected Kashmiris are hiding in Delhi.
Based on the information that the group is plotting to carry out a major attack in the capital and also has a large number of weapons, the team of Special Cell gathered information about them.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind Chief, Burhan Koka was killed by the army in an encounter on 29 April after which his brother Ishfaq Majid Koka has been recruited by the terrorist organization.

Recently, the Special Cell got information that Kashmiri youths have collected a large number of weapons in Delhi and were seen around Income Tax Office (ITO) and Daryaganj.
Based on this information, the four accused were caught by laying a trap when police surrounded their vehicle and stopped them.
In the preliminary inquiry, the special cell came to know that Ishfaq Majid was in contact with the head of Koka Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. He prepared Altaf Ahmad Dar for the attack in Delhi, who used to work in his shop.
Apart from this, he also included his relative Aaqib Saifi, who is studying computer science. Altaf Ahmed also took Mushtaq Ahmed Gani, who drives a taxi in Srinagar.
Majid came to Delhi on 27 September at the behest of his kingpin and stayed in Paharganj. Money was sent to his bank account to buy weapons. After buying weapons, he was looking for a chance to carry out the terrorist attack.
