New Delhi: As the Delhi air quality remained in the 'poor' category on Thursday with overall AQI at 252 and despite the state government and National Green Tribunal (NGT)'s strict warnings against air pollution, Lado Sarai saw a pile of garbage burning under no surveillance.
Even though no untoward incident happened, the fire in South Delhi posed a severe risk to the forest, animals and birds nearby.
Besides the fire, the smoke emitting from the garbage is also toxic and harmful that adds on to the worsening air quality.
