New Delhi: On the one hand, the government is struggling with the Covid-19 epidemic while on the other hand, the farmers who have been agitating for the last 6-months plans to intensify their stir. The various farmers' organisations are now planning to mobilize and protest on May 26 around Delhi's borders.

On this issue, ETV Bharat spoke to BJP national spokesperson Gopal Agarwal. He said that the recent farmers' protest on May 26 is politically motivated. The six-month-old movement is witnessing thousands of farmers protesting around Delhi's borders, completely rejecting the Covid-19 protocol.

He further added that country is facing the second phase of the Covid-19 crisis and if the farmers do not leave, then the tragedy of the third phase will be a reality for the country.
