ETV Bharat impact: Road construction work of Prahladpur village starts in full swing

As per the promise made by the Delhi Cantt MLA Virender Singh Kadian, the construction work of the Prahladpur village road in Delhi Cantt has been started in full swing. This comes after ETV Bharat had reported about the plight of villagers due to the poor road facility.

New Delhi: After ETV Bharat highlighted the plight of villagers due to the poor road facility in Prahladpur village in Delhi Cantt, the district administration not only promised but have started the construction work of the road in full swing.

Dayaram Dwivedi, one of the residents of Prahladpur village, earlier told ETV Bharat: "With this worst condition of the road, I face daily problems while going office as this is the only way to my office."

Another resident, Tejpal Lohia told ETV Bharat: "As the monsoon is arriving soon if the rainwater gets accumulated on the road, then the potholes will not be visible, due to which accidents can happen."

After knowing the situation, ETV Bharat has reported the plight of the villagers, Delhi Cantt MLA Virender Singh Kadian, came forward and has promised to start the road construction work as early as possible.

Now, as per the promise, MLA Virendra Kadian has personally taken the charge of the construction work and has given surety to the villagers to complete the work soon.

Thanking ETV Bharat for bringing the story to light, the villagers said it was only due to the media that the construction work of the road has been started.
