New Delhi: Union Minister of Road, Transport and Highway, Nitin Gadkari addressed the media after attending the National Council Meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry. He asserted that the government will respond to all the queries of industrialists and work together with them.

"We are an investment-friendly government. We have no plans to shut down any industry, but rather we are here to extend help to them," he said.

Gadkari also affirmed that no decisions will be made for the growth of private sectors and hindrances shall be removed.

"It is important for industries to upgrade their technology with time. It is to reduce pollution and work in the interest of the nation," he added.

Many companies from the auto industry have already voiced their concerns over the government's draft proposal to ban all two-wheeler vehicles below 150 cc by 2025 and replace them with electric two-wheelers.

Intro:With Niti Ayog's electric mobility proposal irks India's auto industry, Union Minister of Road, Transport & Highway and MSME hinted them to change their approach in the interest of the country.


Body:Speaking to media after addressing several queries of industrialists at the Confederation of Indian Industry's National Council Meeting in the national capital, the Union Minister said, 'we are a investment friendly government. We don't to close any of the industries rather we want help them. We want to enhance India's growth rate that's why we would like add private sector in it.'

The Union Minister didn't stop there, in a veiled response to the auto sector, he said 'We won't make any decision which will trouble any of the sectors. But it is also important for them to keep in mind that according to time and in the interest of the country they should upgrade their technology. And, together we can take our country in the new direction.'
