New Delhi: Colleges have been closed due to the lockdown forced by COVID outbreak and latest trends suggenst there's a surge in attendance during online classes.
Dr Vipin Aggarwal, Principal of Aurobindo College affiliated to DU said that students are attending more online classes than offline.
More than a month has passed since the new session of online classes started at Delhi University.
Several Teachers claimed that the attendance of students in the online class has started quite well. Explaining the reason for this, the principal of Arvindo College, Dr Vipin Aggarwal said,'' when students used to come to study in colleges, their attendance was about 70 to 75 per cent but during online class, the attendance of students was about 95 per cent.
Students from different states of India come to DU to pursue their studies. In such a situation, these students do other courses along with studies, due to which many times they miss their regular class.''
