New Delhi: Anas Mujahideen, a junior resident doctor posted in Delhi's Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Dilshad Garden, has died just 6-hours after testing Covid positive. Dr Anas was working as a junior resident in the Gynaecology ward of the hospital.
The 26-year-old, a resident of Bhagirathi Vihar in East Delhi, fell ill on Saturday and underwent a covid test at the GTB Hospital. His report came positive and his voice began to falter, following which he was immediately admitted to the Emergency Ward of GTB Hospital, where he died late on Sunday night.

A fellow doctor said the report of Dr Anas Mujahideen came positive and he was also taking medicines for headaches for several days. According to doctors, he died in the hospital due to a vein rapture in his head.
