New Delhi: All India Trinamool Congress leader, Derek O'Brien questioned the government for the bills introduced without scrutiny. He was responding to the address by V Muraleedharan, MoS Parliamentary Affairs where he had listed the number of proposed bills for the next week.
"11 bills have been passed without scrutiny, except the Motor Vehicle's Bill and nine more have been listed for the next week. There is no standing committee to scrutinize these bills," he said.
Venkaiah Naidu, chairman of the Rajya Sabha acknowledged the issue and requested the political parties to look into the matter.
