New Delhi: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has released the picture of the rioters accused of arson, firing and stone-pelting in Chand Bagh area during North East Delhi violence in February this year, which left many people dead and injured apart from loss to properties. The Crime Branch has now launched a search operation of these miscreants. The Crime Branch officials have said that those giving any information about the miscreants will be appropriately awarded and their identity will also be kept secret.
ATTACK BY RIOTERS
It is worth mentioning that all these 20 people were allegedly involved in the violence in North East Delhi’s riots on February 24. During the violence, a fierce mob of rioters killed the Head Constable of Delhi Police Ratan Lal. Police officials say that these rioters were also present in Chand Bagh area at that time. Significantly, during the Chand Bagh violence, Shahdara’s DCP Amit Sharma was also attacked when he was also trying to control the rioters. Along with DCP Amit Sharma, ACP Anuj Kumar of Dayalpur was also attacked by the rioters.
POSTERS OF RIOTERS WILL BE PLACED AT PUBLIC PLACES
The Crime Branch officials said that posters of these rioters will be put up at all public places of Delhi very soon so that common people can also identify them. All these rioters are absconding and whoever gives information on these rioters to the Crime Branch, their identity will be kept secret and he also will be rewarded appropriately.
