New Delhi: In what seems to be a continuation of its 2015 winning streak, the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) is all set to form a government in Delhi for a third consecutive term while reducing its closest rival Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) to single-digit seats in the 70-member assembly.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led party has won 62 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections while the BJP -- which led a high-voltage campaign on anti-CAA protests and nationalism -- settled for eight seats after initial gains and no seats for Congress.

Both AAP heavyweights Manish Sisodia and Atishi Marlena have won Patpargunj and Kalkaji constituency respectively after the initial scare.

After voting for Delhi Assembly Elections ended on February 8, the Exit polls stated that AAP will win Delhi 2020 Vidhan Sabha Election.

The highest voting of 71.6 per cent was reported from the Ballimaran Assembly constituency, while the lowest turnout was in Delhi cantonment, which reported 45.4 per cent voting.

Delhi Election Results: What do exit polls say?

Almost all the exit polls predicted a clean sweep for the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with an average of 56 seats and a third term for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, with BJP coming a distant second with 14 seats, while the projection for Congress was at a dismal zero.

The polling for the 70-member Assembly was held on February 8 with a final voter turnout of 62.59 per cent, which is five per cent less than 2015.

Meanwhile, the AAP has expressed apprehension over the election results given the "delay" in the declaration of the final voter turnout.

India Today-Axis had predicted that AAP would win 59-68 seats, 02-11 seats for BJP+, and zero seats for Congress.

The Times Now–IPSOS Opinion Poll indicated that AAP has a clear edge in Delhi, with Arvind Kejriwal set to become chief minister again.

The pollster said that the AAP will have a comfortable majority with 44 seats — a considerable hit from its clean sweep in 2015 but nonetheless a majority.

The BJP is expected to win on 26 seats, while the Congress, like last time, will fail to win even a single seat.

ABP-C Voter predicted that AAP would win anywhere between 49-63 seats, with BJP managing to win 5-19 seats, while Congress is sadi to win 0-4 seats.

Republic Jan-Ki Baat indicated that the Aam Aadmi Party would win 48-61 seats, BJP - 9-21, and Congress is likely to win zero to one seat.

NewsX-Neta has, in the meantime, has placed AAP at a comfortable 53-57 seat victory, 11-17 seat victory for BJP, and zero to 2 seats for Congress.

TV9 Bharatvarsh-Cicero exit poll indicated a 52-64 seats victory for AAP, 6-16 seat win for BJP+ and zero to 2 seat victory for Congress.
