Delhi police helpline receives 706 calls in last 24 hour

Delhi police has issued a helpline number 23469526 to solve the problems of people related to the COVID-19 lockdown. During the last 24 hours, a total of 706 calls have been received on the helpline.

New Delhi: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, people are facing many hardships across the nation.

To solve the problems of people related to the lockdown, Delhi police has issued a helpline number 23469526, on which 43235 calls have been received by Delhi Police so far.

During the last 24 hours, a total of 706 calls have been received on the helpline.

A Delhi Police official said that out of the total 706 calls received during the last 24 hours, 75 calls were from outside Delhi, which have been sent to the helpline numbers of the respective states.

The official further said that today no calls related to no food, money and health needs were received.

469 calls were related to movement passes in which the callers were advised to apply online.

Through various institutions, Delhi Police is feeding more than two lakh people from Delhi.

An official of Delhi Police told that in all 15 districts of Delhi during the lockdown, food delivery network has been established with the help of more than 400 NGOs.

Through this, 237366 people were fed food in 250 places in Delhi and dry ration kits among 1790 people in different areas of Delhi were also divided.
