Police arrest YouTuber for flying drone near India Gate

The three boys were flying drones in a no-fly zone which is around 5 kilometres around Rashtrapati Bhavan. The boys were recording videos via drone when PCR and local police caught them and they were taken into custody.

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Saturday arrested three boys after they were caught flying drones in the highly sensitive India Gate area of ​​the capital Delhi. The boys were recording videos via drone when PCR and local police caught them and they were taken into custody.

Security agencies were stirred up after receiving information about drone flying in the India Gate area. Intelligence Bureau and Special Cell team interrogated these boys for several hours. After which, a case was registered against them and the accused were released on bail.

Police seized drones, remote controls and memory cards from their possession. In this regard, DCP of New Delhi district, Dr Ish Singhal said that the arrested boys are YouTubers who were shooting videos for their channel.

Police have registered a case in this regard.

There is no-fly zone around 5 kilometres around Rashtrapati Bhavan. After taking the three boys into custody, the IB and Special Cell started questioning them.

The accused identified as Dharmendra, Charanjeet Singh and his younger brother said that they had come to fly drones only for entertainment as Dharmendra has a YouTube channel and uploads videos on YouTube.
