New Delhi: Regardless of the government's claims of low unemployment in the country, a recent incident from a COVID hospital in Ambedkar Nagar area here seemed to tell a different story.
A number of job seekers have been thronging to Ambedkar Hospital looking for jobs instead of treatment.
It is to be noted that the hospital was inaugurated by CM Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday.
The 200-bed capacity hospital building has been witnessing job seekers armed with resumes since its inauguration.
In order to avoid the arrival of job applicants who were continuously pestering hospital staffers, authorities were forced to put a 'No Vacancy' signboard outside the gate.

Talking to ETV Bharat, one of the job seekers said they had been coming to the hospitals from day 1 of its inauguration.
"We have been coming here for jobs since the hospital was inaugurated. But none of the authorities is accepting our resumes, instead, they are saying there is no vacancy," he said.
The job seekers also claimed that the vacancies were being filled internally.
Meanwhile, there is a laid down procedure for recruitment of staffers at the hospital which was clearly neglected by job seekers.
