New Delhi: "It was a moment of great joy and pride when my teacher informed me that I have received 491 out of total 500 marks in class 12 board examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)," said Pooja Jha, who wants to join the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) after graduation in political science.

On being asked who inspired her to be an IFS officer, she said her father and elder sister have been encouraging her to prepare for the prestigious job.
"I will take up political science as my subject for graduation and after that I would appear for the competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to get into my dream job," she said.
Pooja's elder sister, Komal Jha, a graduate, said Pooja has been a bright student and the family is happy as she has done really well in the examination.
The CBSE declared the results on Monday after a long delay because of the coronavirus health crisis.
